That Fish Almost Ate Me.

Weird title....but yes. My dear friend Paige and I were frightened by a certain fish. It never seemed to die and would have random seizures while we held it close to our face. Once, when the fish decided to freak on me, I threw it and it hit a girl's leg. My bad.
As you will see, we had a bit too much fun camping in Redfeathers this weekend as young women.

A new family moved into our ward and we were lucky enough to have their thirteen year old daughter come along with us. Scotty and her got along just great. I love Scotty's sweet, caring and friendly spirit. She made Cassy feel so special and loved.
Yes. Pause and take a gander. This was the beautiful view we had from our cabin. The cloud formations were going crazy and the view of the mountains was wonderful.
The couple in our ward who allowed us to use their cabin, own six acres! You can imagine how exicted these girls were to be able to roam, climb some boulders and throw wood at eachother.
I even found it exciting....which is saying something!
I just love each and every one of these girls. They have such unique personalities and have hearts full of service and love. I think I enjoy being around them mainley because they make me want to be a better person.

The layout of the cabin was stellar! I believe there was only one girl who had to sleep on the ground, and that was only because she wanted to. There was bunk beds galore, cots, and couches.
I give the overall "camping" experience five stars.
This little bed is where my sleeping quarters were located.
Yes, you do see a T.V. in the background. Who called this a "camping" trip again?
After getting a solid four hours of sleep.....
We all headed out to go fishing. The morning was beautiful and everyone was buzzing with excitement and determination.
A super fun factor about this trip was that the fathers were welcome to come. Those who did come were able to spend qualtity time with their daughters.
Every single girl did not give up. We wanted to be able to accomplish what the young men get to accomplish. We even went the extra mile and gutted the fish ourselves.
After a few hours, I decided to take a hike on my own with my scriptures.
I have said this before, but I am in love with nature. I find so much peace and comfort and gratitude towards Heavenly Father for creating such a beautiful atmosphere. What a great way to go to grow closer to our Father in Heaven.
