Twilight Zone is Real...The Mystery Spot.

The posts from our wonderful vacation in California are going to be out of order. Why not, eh?
One of our stops was a hard core, crazy cool place in Santa Cruz called the Mystery Spot. Send my mama to the nurse!

^^^These are my best cousins. They are sooooo beautiful and wonderful!!!!!!!
^^^We arrived at the Mystery Spot earlier than the slot we bought the tickets for, so we went on a hike. The tour guides assured us that the hike was simple...but at the end we were climbing down a hill so steep, we might as well have been on a slide. We were sliding down. Literally.
Experiences like that-being super difficult and annoying-tend to be the best in the end. You reflect on how special it was to be with your family in a difficult yet fun circumstance. We survived!
^^^Shain and I find pleasure in various ways.
^^^I love this picture of Shain and I!!!!!
^^^Now on to the good stuff. The Mystery Spot is supposedly a place where the laws of gravity do not apply. In the photo above, one can see that the people are slightley tilted. When standing up straight, in the Mystery Spot, one would be tilted. Once I entered this area, I had a HUGE headache and felt very dizzy. Everyone else felt the same way as well.
^^^Isn't this crazy?!? Being on top of the table didn't even feel scary. I felt like I was just standing up straight but no.....it would appear that we are trippin.
^^^I prefer to call this move The Matrix:)
Overall the experience was a ball. According to Wikipedia, there are several of these gravitational annominalies around the states such as South Dakota, Michigan and California. There's even an explanation and directions on how to create this trick on your own. To me, it really does not matter if it's a trick; I mean isn't it crazy that someone can do that?! I don't care how it happens. It's still fun:) So if you're looking for an interesting twilight-zoney adventure, head on over to one of these crazy spots. It's worth it.
^^^P.S. Isn't this adorkable? We discovered it on our way to a mall near Livermore. So fun.

Side note: These photos were taken with a Canon point-and-shoot. I was ridiculous and failed to bring batteries for my big guy. The point-and-shoot turned out alright in the end.
