What a busy bunch of weeks and months. School has begun and it is very lovely. My classes are interesting in variation and I am continually trying my hardest. The other Lewis kiddies are trying their best as well. We have finally got into the swing of things!
I have been thinking about life and passions. There are so many things that bring me happiness. Being homework free, spending time with friends, getting an A+ on tests, receiving a compliment. These are some things that bring me happiness.
There are so many things that bring me a deep joy. Autumn, boots, sweaters, familiar smells, salads, memories, grapes, crunchy leaves, cold bedrooms, reading classic novels, photography and so much more. My body radiates pure enjoyment when I participate in these joys.
Yesterday I spent some time with one of my dearest friends. I have known him for nine or so years.
I took his senior pictures.
Senior pictures.
Him and I are seniors in high school.
Where has the time gone?
There are times I want it all to stop. I want to freeze moments and let them last forever. A few years ago, an entire year seemed daunting and so very far away. Yet now, an entire year is nothing. I feel like summer just began, yet I am attending school. I feel like I just had my sixteenth birthday, but my eighteenth is drawing nearer. I'll soon be off to college, but I feel as if high school just began.
Time flies by.
I welcome the future with an eager heart and open arms.
I have had time to reflect on my passions. I have had time to find passions.
Photography is definitely a passion.
My body radiates pure enjoyment when I participate in this joy.
So here's to a senior year. Here's to my passions.
