Kobe's game this last Saturday was in Colorado Springs. Kelsen happened to have a game an hour later in Denver, so we had to split the family. Unfortuantely, I chose Kobe's game, so none of these pictures will be of Kelsen's. Regardless of where we were, it was HOT. We came back with sunburns (especially my dad. Cough). I'd reckon it was somewhere in the 80's. A similar weather pattern followed the next few days, yet today we have snow/rain. School got canceled for me, but not for the rest of my sibilings. But seriously? Snow day in May. Preety miraculous I suppose.
This picture is one of Kobe getting hurt (he's the one clutching his knees to his chest, with people all around him). He was still in tons of pain but pushed through. What a boss.
The following is just a bunch of photos that will give you a feel for the game. Vipers won in the end so give them a round of applause.
This past week we had an issue with chubby cheeks. Kamden was scheduled to get her tonsils out one morning, but when she woke up to get ready for the surgery, her cheek had swelled up. The doctor decided to hold on the surgery and have the cheek checked out.
It turns out that one of her teeth had, in a way, rotted. This resulted in an infection in the gums and so her entire cheek swelled up. The tooth got removed, which was a horrible sight to watch. That poor girl. But hey, she ended up getting $10.00 from the tooth fairy. It's all good.
I tried not to take too many photos because it was very disturbing. I did manage to get this picture, which is not very good quality, but you can get the feel for what was going on.
