Camp Esther Part 2.

^^^Now for day two at Camp Esther.
After having some spiffy breakfast, we attended a work shop. This workshop totally went over the fence and out the door. Kristy Russin taught it and she is a life coach and pretty much genius, so I was left mind crazy. Basically she explained the relations between our conscious and sub-conscious and why we know certain things to be true, yet sometimes doubt ourselves. It was flat out genius. I wish I had the ability to comprehend all of that wonderful stuff, but regardless, I did get a special message out of that workshop that I would love to share.
I get to be Makennah!
I don't have to be my mother, my brother, my friends, the girls around me at school. I get to be me. Makennah.
Substitute that for yourself: "I get to be (insert your name)."
It really is such a powerful and moving sentence. Of course there will still be those times I feel insecure and of little worth, but hey, I'm a girl. That happens. But during those times, I feel so comforted knowing that I can pray to Heavenly Father and feel His love for me. He will always love me and the same goes for everyone.
Ugh! Just so grateful to be able to learn more and gain more and stronger testimonies.
Anyways....enough religious stuff. Don't want to bore.
^^^After packing lunch and being taught so wonderfully by the awesome Kristy, we headed out on an adventure....A.K.A a hike! Now who doesn't get tickled at the thought of a hike? Time to get some culture!
^^^If you can't tell from these photos, the second portion of our hike-which might I add was optional-was off the trail and VERY difficult. I don't hike everyday, but I am fairly active and go on hikes every so often. What made this hike difficult was the rise in altitude and elevation. This hike consisted of everyone taking breaks every two minutes to catch our breath. Hard, but hey, we made it to the top! We named the peak "Mount Esther".
Opa! *China plates being banged against a hard surface*
^^^These are my buds. From the left: Rebekah, Kirstine, Lexi and I.
We are goofy and cool like that.
P.S. This photo totally shows personalities. So good.
^^^At a pit-stop, one can see that my knees were burning at this point. Latter in the evening, these bad boys were on fire and no one could discover aloe or any kind of relief. So naturally I went to the freezer in the cabin, found me some frozen otter pops and plopped them on my knees. Instant relief.
^^^I have titled this photo "EPIC". This is not posed. This is 100% genuine. Rebekah was above me, chilled all cool like and I just looked at her and my jaw dropped. She is gorgeous and amazing and just so.....EPIC. Therefore, I love this shot.
^^^Lexi is such a goofball. We are all exhausted and finally reached the top of the mountain. We're all heaving and sweating and eating and drinking. While we're attempting to become human again, Lexi spots this dead tree and likes it. Since she likes it, she decides to climb it. Haha. She is going places in life.
^^^And of course I've got to include the "artistic" pictures from the hike.
I love the earth. I'm an earth lover.

Well, that's all for day two. Stay tuned for the last day. Coming soon.
